leadership development
Students accepted to the second year program of SCMC will further discover and sharpen their leadership skills and abilities. Each student is assigned portfolios based on individual skill sets and given the opportunity to lead in various venues throughout the year. Many of the second year students will have the opportunity to serve as a resident assistant and small group leader. This invaluable experience along with leadership mentoring will equip them to lead effectively within the home, church and market place.

ministry preparation
Students desiring to enter local church ministry will receive training and mentoring from many experienced veterans. Classroom instruction, combined with practical hands on application, makes this an invaluable experience and gives students entering ministry a distinct advantage. Within two years at SCMC, they will have over twenty-five pastors and market place professionals personally pouring into their life. Upon completion of the second year, students may apply to become licensed and credentialed through the Assemblies of God.
