Dawn Brock

Dawn Brock is the sister everyone always wanted. She is a steady, committed, trustworthy friend that people love sharing their heart with. These characteristic traits are some of the main reasons she is able to make such a significant impact in the lives of students at SCMC.

Dawn first met Pastor Darren during her sophomore year in high school. Dawn served on PD’s youth leadership team while in high school and upon graduating from college. During that time, she had the opportunity of being a part of a thriving youth ministry that shook a community and grew numerically beyond the size of the adult congregation.

Following high school, Dawn attended Toccoa Falls College and graduated with a BS in Middle Grades Education. She then taught middle and high school math for five years. While teaching, she made a lasting mark in the lives of students as a result of her heart to mentor the next generation.

In 2006, Dawn’s dream came true when she joined the staff of SCMC, and she now serves as a Co-Operational Director on a full time basis. With over ten years of leadership within the church and a burning heart for discipleship and local/world missions, Dawn is an invaluable part of the SCMC leadership team and family.
